Online Gambling Still Safe

internetgambling.gifDid you know there was a bill working its way through the Senate that’s going to outlaw “most forms of Internet gambling?” It’s true. Games like online poker, but not horse racing, would be banned from being operated in the United States. However offshore and foreign gambling sites would be okay, as the US isn’t able to police them. They could, however, force your ISP to block your access to them.

No Senator wants to speak up as being “pro-gambling”, especially as the gambling portion of the appropriations bill is being wrapped around “Save the children” and “pro family” rhetoric so popular amongst douchebaggy Senators today.

Gambling’s safe for now, as Senators are taking a one month recess starting August 4th, but when they come back, you can say goodbye to Golden Palace.
